Brian Tackett AWMA®

Brian has worked in the financial services industry for more than 20 years, with the last 18 years spent in the ultra-high-net-worth space. He began his career in the operations department, where he learned both the importance of client service and the nuance of individual investments. This was an important foundation in not only understanding the significance of investing, but also the emotional behavior behind being successful in each of our desired goals. He then went on to become an investment analyst, where his primary duties included trading and monitoring a vast range of portfolios, vetting individual funds, and managing overall risk. Brian’s service background, along with his knowledge of investments, made the transition to a wealth advisor only natural.

“I think of myself as a financial coach, utilizing the tools and hard work unique to each relationship, which ultimately leads to the likelihood of success. This means an open and honest dialogue, coupled with a sound game plan.”

Brian is a veteran of the US Army, where he graduated from Air Assault School and became a proud member of the 101st Airborne Division. He remains active in his support of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Organization, and those who have proudly served our country. He obtained his Accredited Wealth Management Advisor (AWMA) designation from the College of Financial Planning, along with his Missouri Insurance License. He lives in Blue Springs with his wife Jennifer, and son Chase.

Jeffrey Nessel

Jeff is dedicated to helping his clients work toward a solid financial foundation for their retirement. He has more than 30 years of experience, Series 7 and Series 63 registrations held through LPL Financial, and holds life insurance licenses through LPL Financial.

Jeff began his financial advisory career working for MuniciCorp of California, which at the time was the largest tax-free bond brokerage firm in the western United States. Though he started his career advising high-net-worth clients, he has expanded his business model over the years to help all his clients create plans for creating and maintaining wealth by advising them on investment strategies that fit their individual needs. The trust his clients place in him has led many of them to recommend him to their own now-grown children, making Jeff an advisor to multiple generations of several families.

Jeff graduated from the University of California-Los Angeles with a bachelor’s degree in political science and later earned a master’s degree in the same field from California State University-Northridge. Jeff has lived in Leawood, Kansas, since 1992. He and his wife, Sarah, are the parents of a son, Elijah. In the years since Elijah was diagnosed as being on the autism spectrum, Jeff has served as a volunteer for several local organizations that help children with autism.

Keith Osborne

Having worked in this field for over 30 years, I’ve dedicated myself to advising families and individuals on financial matters. My goal is to help my clients build a secure future and live their best lives with their hard-earned assets. Guiding them through various life events gives them the confidence to pursue their dreams and aspirations.

I’ve had the privilege of meeting incredible individuals throughout my career and am deeply grateful for the trust they’ve placed in me. Working with a diverse range of people has been enriching, as I learn something valuable from each interaction. I firmly believe that achieving goals requires discipline, and often, the lifestyle one desires is more within reach than they realize. I encourage my clients to start building the life they truly want now rather than postponing it. By emphasizing the importance of strategic planning and investing, I help them unlock remarkable long-term results.

My investment philosophy centers on prioritizing high-quality assets for long-term growth, while also recognizing the importance of making necessary adjustments in the short and medium term to ensure that the portfolio stays aligned with long-term goals.

On a more personal note, I was born and raised in St. Louis and graduated from Missouri State University in Springfield, MO.  I spent many years in a few large bank trust departments as a Portfolio Manager in Kansas City and St. Louis. I owned a business outside of the financial industry for about 9 years and then re-entered the industry as a Financial Advisor and have remained that for the last 15 years.

I have two wonderful daughters who make me proud every day as they create the lives they want to live. I enjoy most sports but partial to golf, baseball, and hockey.   I also like to tinker on a few classic cars here and there but like driving them more than anything.

As a Private Wealth Manager at Personal Financial Group, I offer the perspective of more than 30 years of professional experience in the financial industry. I align each client’s unique goals, values, and needs with holistic planning and design of investment and insurance strategies. Unlike many investment firms, LPL Financial offers an open-architecture platform, giving clients access to a full spectrum of products and services offered in the marketplace. This provides you the opportunity to receive the benefits of a full-service investment firm with the comprehensive and independent advice of an experienced financial advisor.
