Steve P. Lawrence

Steve Lawrence has over 20 years of experience as a financial advisor.  He worked for two large financial services companies before joining the Personal Financial Group network of independent advisors.  He sees the independent advisor avenue as the best way to bring his clients a wide array of investment strategies and options that appropriately fit their long-term financial goals. 

Ask any of Steve’s clients and they will tell you Steve is different because he is personally invested in helping pursue their financial success.  He builds a relationship by listening to his clients’ concerns and crafts investment strategies designed to work towards achieving financial goals. Steve knows his clients’ families, job situations and life dreams. At the heart of Steve’s work life and personal life are his integrity, hard work and service to clients, family and community.  

Steve is a proud graduate of Kansas State University.  Steve has been married to his wife Martha for 32 years and is a proud father of their daughter Sarah.  Steve is active in the community including Children’s Mercy Hospital Planned Giving Council, Cornerstones of Care Foundation Board, Knights of Columbus, Delta Upsilon Capital Campaign Board and is a graduate of the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce Centurions program.  When Steve isn’t planning his clients’ financial futures, he is watching the Wildcats, Royals and Chiefs.
